Redhanded's Deal— More than just a pretty handbag
Redhanded Bags rolls like this:

-
Not exploiting anybody
Most manufacturers' favorite cheap labor countries have poor workers rights records and it's really ruffling our feathers. Companies that claim they can't survive unless they outsource are being disingenuous. What they mean is that they can't maximize profits if they don't take advantage of cheap labor. Of course not all overseas labor is slave labor, but a lot is...we should know where our stuff comes from! -
We use only Eco-friendly materials, don't you?
You have to be living in a different century not to know that there are sustainable, eco-friendly solutions for any type of textile. Companies all have a choice when they source materials. They can choose materials laden with toxins, solvents, volatile organic compounds, pesticides, or they can choose to use materials that don't have any of that stuff. We choose clean stuff! -
Not using animal hides or fur
No one should have to lose his hide so you can rock a killer bag. If you were a caveman, it would be okay. For every type of fur or leather, there's a manmade substitute that looks and feels like the real thing. Insisting on real fur or leather is sort of like using ivory. It's becoming a tired illusion of luxury or authenticity. Say goodbye to the illusion! -
Friendship
Friendship in a Bag is our ongoing project where we provide school bags, supplies, and candy to kids all over the world who need our help. Just send us your used bag and we'll refurbish it, fill it up, and send it on!
